Mad World Is a hack and slash video game developed by N Games and published by android. It was released worldwide for the Wii in March 2009 and Japan in February 2017. It was relaunched the Welcome to Violence boxset in March 2017, which includes The House of the Dead: Overkill and The Conduit.
★ Gameplay ★
Mad World is divided into several levels representing different parts of Jefferson Island that have been converted into sets for the game show “DeathWatch”. The player progresses through these levels in a linear fashion during the first playthrough, but can revisit any completed level to attempt to score more points or take on a harder challenge.
Manga Hero sends Kira on a quest for revenge through the war-torn countryside. From a seaside village to a flying fortress to the legendary island of the dead, the hero will stop at nothing to track down his arch-enemy Orochi. Will he get his revenge?
Mad World does not use the Wii Remote Infrared Sensor because its developers have found it unnecessary to spot the movements on the screen to attack. 9 When certain special attacks are possible, the reader is prompted to press a button or move the controllers in a specific way to complete the action. In boss fights, the player must trigger special finishing movements that engage their enemy in a series of fast-time events in order to weaken, dismember the attached weapons or defeat the boss, called Power Struggles. These are also possible against some normal enemies.
The game features extreme violence, over-the-top, but designer Shigenori Nishikawa intends to be seen in a comic light, despite the dark tone of the game. 10 For example, in a mini-game called “Man Darts”, players must hit the enemies on a giant dart with a baseball bat to score points. However, due to the level of violence expected, PlatinumGames does not know if the game will finally be released in Japan, saying: “In some markets, there are many limits to the violence that one can display, so we definitely The Western market much more in mind. “12
MadWorld offers highly stylized graphics that use a limited range of colors in high-contrast black and white with red, partly inspired by Frank Miller’s Sin City graphic novels.
